Fire Door Remedial Works & Fire Door Replacements
At the start of the month we were approached by a new client. Their 120 bedroom student accommodation block in Leicester had been subject to mindless vandalism.
Brown & Shaw Fire Door Specialists replaced around 25 new flat entrance door sets & replaced 40 door frames.
All Work Carried out to BM Trada Q-Mark Certification.

Q-Mark Passive Fire Stopping Installation to STD 05b
Brown & Shaw have been approved to carry out Fire Stopping and fire sealing products for penetration seals through the Q-Mark Passive Scheme.

Our team have been carrying out more fire door Inspections this week at Loughborough University. Maintenance & Replacement of doors will be carried out where the doors are not compliant.

Kingsway Hospital Derby - Fire Door Installation
Brown & Shaw have recently completed a refurbishment project at Kingsway Hospital, Derby. The building we worked on, Audrey House is a 15 bed mental health unit. The project included the installation of 45 FD30s anti ligature door sets.
All doors installed to manufacturers requirements & doors handed over Q-Mark certified.

Mansfield Community Hospital - Fire Door Installation.
Brown & Shaw recently completed the installation of 8nr fire doors on behalf of Skanska. All doors installed to manufacturers requirements & doors handed over Q-Mark Certified.
A straight forward project, we installed the doors on a live construction site, liaising with other trades & site management.
New Project - November 2023
Loughborough University - Fire Door Inspections, Fire Door Maintenance & Fire Door Installation.
Brown & Shaw have started fire door inspections on the academic buildings at the Loughborough University campus.
Maintenance & Replacement of doors will be carried out where the doors do not conform. A challenging project in a live college environment.
