Regular repairs, upgrades and maintenance for fire doors is a legal requirement. Brown & Shaw can assist with ongoing fire door efficiency and regulation compliance.
According to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, fire doors must be "subject to a suitable system of maintenance and are maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair"
Failure to comply with the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order could result in the landlord, building manager or owner being prosecuted and fined & even imprisoned.
Our experienced maintenance team will ensure your fire doors are put back to their originally intended fire rating by carrying out Accepted Repair Techniques (ART) under the BM Trada Q Mark scheme.
We will work with you to ensure that your fire doors meet the required safety standards to give you peace of mind and be fire safe.
The BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Maintenance scheme has been designed to provide reassurance to specifiers, contractors, and end users that the existing doorset they have chosen has been maintained correctly and that it should perform as intended.
Each door we maintain & repair will be logged & recorded with photos before, during and after the inspection & Maintenance. We will provide details of all materials used giving you peace of mind that the doors have been maintained correctly.
If you have a project you require assistance on, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
